The number of coronavirus cases in Italy has risen for the first time
Another 369 people infected with the new coronavirus have died in Italy in the last 24 hours, but the number of people cured for the first time since the outbreak of the epidemic in that country is higher than the number currently infected.
So far, 93,245 people have been cured of COVID-19 in Italy, while 91,528 people are currently infected.
In the past 24 hours, 1,444 new cases have been registered, bringing the total number of patients to 214,457.
The death toll from coronavirus in Italy rose to 29,684 today. Only the United States and the United Kingdom have more deaths than Italy.
After eight weeks of restrictive measures, Italy resumed mitigation on Monday, and certain activities resumed.
It is expected that in a few weeks it will be known whether the mitigation of the measures has led to an increase in the number of infected and deceased.
About 4.4 million people returned to work this week, but wearing masks and bracelets is mandatory outside the home.
