As many as 57% of French people gained weight during the quarantine

As many as 57 percents of French people now weigh more than they did at the start of measures to prevent the spread of the Covid-19 virus on March 17.

A survey conducted by the Ifop Institute on the specialized website Darwin Nutrition shows that French citizens have an average of 2.5 kilograms more weight.¬†This is due to lack of movement, but also due to “constant nibbling” sitting at home.

56 percent of men and 58 percent of women are said to be a few pounds overweight. Among them are the unemployed, couples and parents with children.
